Firstly let me thank you for taking the time to read our terms and conditions. These conditions are aimed at protecting our customers and enable a happy shopping experience.


PRIVACY POLICY

Here at Lourene Ltd your privacy is paramount.

As such we do NOT give any of your details out to any third party.

We are required by the Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998 to follow strict procedures to protect customer information.

We do not share information that you provide with any other company.

You can rest assured that none of your details will be passed to bridal lists and that all personal information sensitive or otherwise given to us through this website will only be held and used with care and in accordance with this policy and the Data Protection Act 1998.

Our correspondence is on a personal level and is on a one-to-one basis.


PAYMENT

Lourene Ltd accepts the following payment methods:
Google Checkout on their secure servers
PAYPAL on their secure servers
Cheques made payable to Lourene Ltd
Bank Transfer

Payment must be received before goods are made and dispatched.

Goods remain the property of Lourene Ltd until payment has been made in full.


DISPATCH

We do not carry stock items. All items are completely handmade at the time of ordering. Please allow four - five weeks for completion of your order, although this can take longer in busy periods.

Our orders are sent via Royal Mail Special delivery to give you peace of mind with proof of postage and you can use online tracking to check the status of your order. We will send you an email with dispatch confirmation on the day of postage with your order tracking number.

Please note dispatch times are not the same as delivery times.

Lourene Ltd can not be held responsible for failure of a recipient to sign for a package, or for the package not being picked up from the local sorting office if an attempted delivery was made to the correct address and there was nobody there to sign for it.


POSTAGE COSTS

Postage and packing on orders are £5.95 for Special Delivery £9.95 for Eire and Europe and £11.95 for International Worldwide

Our orders are sent by Royal Mail 'Special Delivery' to give you peace of mind with proof of postage and you can use online tracking to check the status of your order (your tracking number will be emailed at time of dispatch).


REFUNDS & RETURNS

In the unlikely event you are not completely satisfied with your item, please contact us immediately by emaling us at orders@lourene.co.uk.

Many of our items are custom made to your specifications at the time of ordering and are therefore exempt from the Distance Selling Regulations. However, as a goodwill gesture we will offer you a full refund minus a 30% re-stocking charge provided notify us that you wish to return the items within SEVEN days of receipt. You must take reasonable care of the goods whilst in your possession.

Our made to order items that are personally made to your specifications (i.e. by changing crystal and pearl colours and made to measure jewellery) are exempt from the Distance Selling Regulations and no refund will be available.

Please ensure you order the correct colours / size / lengths (where applicable). Upon placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email detailing your order requirements. You must contact us by email within two working days if you need to make an amendment to your order. If you contact us after two working days, it may be possible that your order has been made to your specification and as such, no refund can be given for customised made to order items.

Should you wish to cancel your order, for custom made items you must contact us within two working days.  After two days, our refund policy will apply.

In the interests of hygiene, pierced earrings are non-returnable.

All return postage costs to be paid for by the customer. We advise that the items are sent securely using Royal Mail special recorded delivery which will issue you with a tracking number. We regret that we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of returned goods

A full refund is available for ready made items (a number of our pearl pendants). If you are unsure of which items are ready made please contact us to query this.

In the very unlikely event the item is damaged, please contact us immediately.


INTENDED USE

Risk in goods shall pass to the customer on delivery and Lourene Ltd shall not in any way be liable for any injury, harmful effects or consequential loss resulting from the application of any inappropriate use, inadequate care, neglect, process treatment or storage of goods after delivery.

This site is owned and operated by Lourene Ltd, designs and/or images found within this web site are NOT in the public domain. Materials from this site may NOT be copied, reproduced, modified, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any form or by any means without prior written permission from Lourene Ltd. Any unauthorised use of the materials appearing on this site may violate copyright, trademark and other applicable laws and could result in criminal or civil action.

Please note that we regularly check for copies of our work/images and further action will be taken if found.


DISCLAIMER

Care has been taken in the compilation of this web site. The statements and information contained on this site are believed to be correct and are stated in good faith. However, Lourene Ltd shall not be liable for any loss, damage or inconvenience arising from inaccuracies.

Also we can not control the content or take responsibilities for pages maintained by external providers/organizations that can be accessed through our site. Any external products and services listed do not necessarily carry the endorsement of Lourene Ltd.

As with all tiara and jewellery manufacturers, Lourene Ltd can not be held responsible for silver tarnishing whether sterling or plated. Plated items can and do wear exposing the base metal.

Lourene Ltd cannot be held responsible for any allergy, metal or otherwise arising from wearing our products.

Tiaras by their very nature are made of metal, have small objects or sharp parts.

As such these items are not suitable for unsupervised children, our items are not toys. They are made as adult hair accessories and are to be used in accordance with this purpose. Lourene Ltd accepts no responsibility for injury caused by the destruction, misuse, negligence or negligent supervision of any of our items.

Your statutory rights are not affected.
